A personal class

School has been an awesome experience after being out of the system for so many years. There are so many options to choose from when wanting to educate yourself. I Started with nutritional Science but did not have a burning desire to learn more. So i have changed my major to Communication. Being a DJ, running a couple businesses in the past and having the experience of talking in front of a lot of people on a weekly bases, i am wanting to expand my ability as a communicator and see where it can take me. I am a Football Coach and i am in school to get my Bachelors degree so i can Coach College Football. Having better communication skills will make me an even better coach, because i am expecting to learn to be able to express myself more effectively so my point can be made, an understood with complete understanding. I really enjoy online school only because i would not be able to physically go to school with the work schedule that i have. The only negative thing for me is the fact that we are surrounded by incredible people from all over the world and because i am a visual and personal guy, not knowing what they sound like or look like is kind of disappointing. But that's me because when i communicate with people i like to look at them eye to eye. Have you ever thought of this, We will go through years of school knowing peoples name and never really knowing them, and yes we have face book, and other social networks, but it is still not the same when going through something shoulder to shoulder. So my suggestion is to create a video patio, where twice a month we go into a "video" chat room, where all a student needed was a video cam on there computer, and we can talk to each other like we are in the same room. Because how many times have you heard someone over the phone and when you had to meet this person (business or personal) they were not what you expected, that's what this idea will do for all of us. and possibly create better friendships and life long communities.
